Results Keep Coming…

The teams recent success over the winter has continued into the spring with numerous wins trophies and fastest laps.

In the New IAME X30 Class senior driver Josh Hatton continues to set the pace wherever he goes on his Mach1 Chassis. Including winning the LGM Senior race at Larkhall on a track he had never driven until the Saturday morning. Then followed this up with a solid 4th at GYG including a fastest lap, again a track he had only driven 5 year previous in a Mini Max. Proving the Mach1 chassis and X30 engine to be the perfect combination.

Joining Josh is a new team mate, Max Clarke, making the switch from Rotax Max to X30 and in the process testing both his existing Tony Kart EVK and the Mach1 chassis with the X30 and Komet tyres. After trying both Max decided the Mach1 delivered the best performance and traded his Tonykart in for a new white machine. In his first race Max had a brace of fastest laps at Whilton Mill and was in the leading group of three in the final which traded places throughout the race.

Also in IAME X30 is Todd Hatton showing great improvement only a tenth off the leaders pace in his last outing and improving every race. Lewis Kent in Junior X30 had a brace fastest laps at various events, with some bad luck denying him an overdue win.

In Rotax classes the team’s drivers have carried on their great form, especially in Minimax and Junior Rotax.

Numerous fastest laps, race wins and trophies in these classes with some blistering pace from Minimax drivers Rowan Bailey and Samuel Cornwell. at Whilton Mill and Kimbolton meetings.

Huge step forward for Junior Driver Angelo Parodi after a hard few months getting him and his equipment back on track after joining the team a few months ago, a good solid couple of results with front running pace, and podiums are set to follow.

Ryan Gillespie is also back in form with a good 5th last weekend at Kimbolton from a strong 26 kart grid and with speed to finish higher just a puncture in an early heat meant he was left with a lot of ground to make up.
